CO₂ Laser Resurfacing in Coral Springs
Skin resurfacing deserves a plan that considers both your goals and your recovery. Begin with an individual skin assessment at Luxe Haus.
Skin quality, texture, and recovery
Ablative laser resurfacing treats the skin surface and may be considered for selected texture concerns, wrinkles, and scars. Fractional treatments address a pattern of treatment zones. Suitability and settings depend on the device, area, and individual assessment.
At your consultation, explain what you want to address, your history of pigment changes or scarring, previous procedures, medications, and any history of cold sores. Your provider will discuss whether CO₂ resurfacing or another approach fits your situation.
Plan around healing
Resurfacing requires preparation and aftercare. Redness, swelling, and peeling can occur. Recovery varies with treatment intensity and location; a photograph of someone else’s progress cannot predict yours. Ask how to plan work, exercise, sun exposure, skin care, and follow-up.
Risks and alternatives
Risks include infection, changes in skin pigmentation, delayed healing, and scarring. Review your individual risks and the alternatives with your clinician. Do not stop prescribed medications or change your skin care without discussing the plan with your provider.

What happens after the assessment?
Discuss the proposed treatment area and intensity, your anticipated healing window, and the aftercare you will need at home. Ask when the skin can be reassessed and whether further treatment might be considered. A fixed number of sessions cannot predict your outcome.
Compare recovery and suitability with chemical peels and other options discussed at your consultation.

Questions before your visit
How much downtime should I plan for?
Your provider should give you an estimate based on the treatment area and intensity. Do not assume a fixed recovery period from another patient’s photos.
Can I have treatment before a vacation or event?
Discuss your dates and expected sun exposure before booking. Healing and sun-protection requirements may make another time more appropriate.
Is CO₂ resurfacing right for every skin type?
No treatment is right for everyone. Skin tone, pigment history, medical conditions, medications, and healing history all influence recommendations.
